On February 8, 2024, 24 teenagers visited ISTerre with their Earth Science teacher. Several ISterre and MEET researchers, PhD students, engineers together with the communication officer, the financial manager and the MEET Operations manager spent a whole morning with them.

What is the link between a rock and Earth’s birth ? 4 workshops were organized to answer this question: fieldtrips, sample preparation & analysis, vulcanoes and mantle convection. A unique opportinity for these schoolchildren to use microscopes and other scientific tools, meet Earth scientists and students and get to know more about research.
