2024 Potsdam Scientific MEET(ing)

On October 27 and 28, 2022, the MEET partners gathered for the first time on the French UGA campus in Grenoble (Kick-off).
On September 17-18, 2024, the second scientific meeting took place at GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ) in Potsdam. It was be a unique opportunity for our scientific community to share results, discuss the latest achievements and the coming challenges.

2024 Workshop for teenagers

From Rock to Earth’s birth

On February 8, 2024, 24 teenagers visited ISTerre with their Earth Science teacher. Several ISterre and MEET researchers, PhD students, engineers together with the communication officer, the financial manager and the MEET Operations manager spent a whole morning with them.

2023 "Afterfield session " - South Africa

Sasha Chugunov and Nick Arndt told us about the fascinating trip they made and what they were looking for in South Africa.
The research support team (techniciens, engineers, administrative staff) and non-MEET scientifics staff discovered Barberton in South Africa, see 3.2 billion year old rocks, understood what went on during a field trip, and heard what the ERC MEET project is all about.

What about meeting after each field trip with those of the team who didn’t have the chance to travel, including technical and administrative staff helping on the project ? Lunch is shared while photos and videos of the trip are to be seen on a big screen.
